March 31-April 3, 1999 - Cinque Terre, Italy

On March 31st we left Brig, Switzerland and took the train to the village of Monterosso al Mare, the northernmost village in the Cinque Terre, Italy. We stayed for 4 days at Hotel Porto Roca. We spent one day just exploring the town of Monterosso, another day hiking between the villages, and one day taking a boat trip to Portovenere. We enjoyed our stay here, and especially loved the pizza, wine, and olives!!
