March 24, 1999 -- Rhine River Tour

We arrived in Frankfurt Germany about 8AM and picked up our rental car....a KA Car (ask Bob about that!). Then we drove west to the Rhein River. We spent our first night at the Hotel Kranenturm, located in the medieval town wall of Bacharach, on the Rhein River. The room was in the tower overlooking the Rhein River, right next to the railroad tracks. Yes, we used earplugs to sleep!! Page 1
